  • Abstract
    This paper presents a detailed bit-level design and simulation of an ATM switch utilizing a slotted ring for the internal fabric. An electronic spreadsheet program is used to implement the simulation. Results yield an intuitively pleasing understanding of the switch function and correctness of operation
