Abstract
This paper presents an input-output block energy decoupling method for linear systems with time-varying delays. It is an approximate decoupling approach, under which the energy of each block input controls mainly the energy of a corresponding block output and influences the energy of the other block outputs as weakly as possible. The results depend on the size of delay and are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). With the powerful LMI toolbox, it is very convenient to solve this problem.
