Abstract
A genetic algorithm to optimize the virtual micro operation environment is put forward in this paper. Firstly, the optical model for microscopic imaging is introduced. Secondly, the background and reasons of using the genetic algorithm are discussed. Furthermore, a genetic algorithm is designed to seek the mapping between the spread parameter of the microscope and Z-axis coordinates. Finally, this genetic algorithm is used to optimize the virtual environment for micro operation with the features of the microscopic image. The genetic algorithm is proved to be effective by some experiments.
