Abstract
This paper describes the stabilization effect after installation of an adjustable speed generator (ASG) in a multimachine power system. A personal computer based ASG module has been developed for the simulations in parallel with the Analog Power System Simulator at the Research Laboratory of the Kyushu Electric Power Co. Simulation results indicate the highly improved overall stability of the multi-machine power system after the installation of ASG.
