  • Abstract
    The mechanism structure and the mechanical measure method of the calculator are designed, which are the key technology of calculator for the quadratic equation with one unknown. Firstly, the basic principle of a kind of mechanical calculator for quadratic equation with one unknown is proposed. Secondly, the function and performance requirements of the system is analyzed and the linkage mechanism is selected as the core computing mechanism. Then the overall structure is designed. Finally, the control system is designed, after designing the system operation process, and the GUI is realized. The ability of solving quadratic equation with one unknown is verified through the physical prototype debugging.
