  • Abstract
    Many iterative signal restoration methods have been shown to converge in a mathematical sense but lack a practical criterion for halting the iterative process. The residual signal can be used to define such a criterion. The results of applying this criterion show a definite advantage over the simple method of examining successive iterations.
