Abstract
In an ATIS (air travel information system), using spoken dialog to query a shortcut is an important task. This paper first describes a spoken dialog system with robust understanding. Then a time-synchronous heuristic DP (dynamic programming) algorithm for shortcut search is discussed. The map layer model is also introduced for information exchange between the spoken language model and shortcut search model. Test results prove that the system and algorithm applied are reliable.
