  • Abstract
The design and details of construction of a Pseudolite (PL) is described. The PL corresponds to a GPS transmitter that operates at 1575.42 MHz and is based on the ground. The RF stage includes a programmable synthesizer, a BPSK modulator, SAW band-pass filters, a linear variable gain amplifier and passive SMD components. All the active circuits are monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs). The substrate is a 0.8 mm thickness two layers FR-4.
