Abstract
We present the initial stage kinematics based coordination approach as a part of our ongoing study of pursuit of a moving target by multiple problem solvers in a two-dimensional space. The problem-solvers are intermittently blinded by the moving target, and our results showed that increase in the number of agents would lead to catch the target in lesser number of moves. The work done focused on the target moving away from its pursuing agents. We measure the efficiency as reducing the number of moves by comparing number of problem solvers against perception capability of the problem solvers. The coordination approach is based on deflecting each pursuer from the centroid of the agent group and attracting themselves toward the target.
