  • Abstract
    This paper presents neural model for efficient prediction of the electromagnetic field strength level for UHF/VHF transmitter based on multilayer perceptron (MLP) network. Here we calculated field strength level for some azimuth using complex neural model where the input parameters are distance from transmitter r, effective antenna height he, and terrain irregularity factor Δh. This way enables fast and accurate computing of the field strength level at reception points for any given effective antenna height from 37.5 m to 1200 m, distance from 10 km to 250 km, and terrain irregularity factor from 10 m to 500 m.
