Abstract
This paper presents a fast and accurate method for indoor signal strength prediction. Method is based on pathloss precalculation for the whole coverage area of an access point in free space. Resulting matrix and object masks are used to calculate signal strength for all points simultaneously minimizing the number of needed calculations and reducing prediction time significantly. Also discussed is the upgrade to 3D prediction.
