  • Abstract
    A fast algorithm for designing minimum phase digital FIR filters is applied to splitting the response of SAW filter between two transducers. Compared to the conventional zero-splitting algorithm, the new algorithm does not require calculation of any zeros, and is extremely easy to implement. Also, we will investigate the topic of zero splitting using numerical optimization (previous publications have used Z-transform based analytic approach). A few optimization-based splitting algorithms are proposed.
