Abstract
Various MIMO-OFDM systems have been studied and various transceiver methods for MIMO systems have been proposed. Most of these systems require estimation of the MIMO channel matrix and calculation of a control parameter to achieve the optimal reception for all sub-carriers. This calculation for all sub-carriers causes an increase in the calculation load. This paper presents frequency correlation of a MIMO channel matrix that reduces the calculation load in a real indoor environment. The eigenvector correlation of the wideband MIMO channel matrix obtained from an actual indoor environment is used as an evaluation parameter of the frequency correlation characteristic.
