Abstract
We show strong magneto-optical hybridization and nonreciprocal characteristics in 2D bismuth-iron-garnet photonic crystal cavities induced by patterned magnetic domains. A Y-junction circulator is demonstrated numerically with a 20 dB bandwidth of 115 GHz at 1550 nm wavelength.
