  • Abstract
    We demonstrate high-performance operation of a novel, monolithically integrated reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM). The 16-channel device provides flexible functionality enabling a variety of network applications. High-isolation performance and cascadability of eight ROADM nodes is shown
