Abstract
The accuracy and speed of the data acquisition of EIT system play an important role in assessing the performance of system. As the resolution of the system is continually improved, it becomes the key of research how to increase running speed of the system. A pipeline data acquisition method is designed in order to increase the speed of the data acquisition of EIT system by means of analysis of consumed time in the key way, which makes the best of the hardware resource. For the adjacent excitation strategy, the system with 32 electrodes may collect 34.25 images per second and the system with 16 electrodes may collect 149.25 images per second
