Abstract
Estimate of glucose level in biological tissue can be obtained by measuring the reduced-scattering coefficient. However, external physical factors like pressure or compression can influence measured values. Using Mie scattering theory and simple fluid mechanical arguments, the paper model the dependency of pressure, glucose concentration and light-wavelength on reduced-scattering coefficient of biological tissue. The authors show that the model is in very good agreement with experimental results
