  • Abstract
    Fault isolation for nonlinear dynamic systems has been receiving significant attention. Existent methods pay few attention at fault isolation speed. However, it is a crucial problem for the application in the fault-tolerant control systems. In this paper a new method of fault isolation for nonlinear dynamic systems is proposed. The method is based on the monotonous characteristic of the observer prediction error. The method fits many kinds of nonlinear dynamic systems. The isolation speed is fast
