Abstract
A new sparsification and compression technique by means of asymptotic phasefrot extraction is presented to reduce the computation time and memory requirements of the MoM for high frequencies. The new technique permits the accurate estimation of the asymptotic phase of the induced current by means of the wavefront basis functions. Those functions are built iteratively by using the electric field integral operator.
