Abstract
Multi-criteria fuzzy decision-making (MCFDM) is an important part of decision making theories. Based on various basic theories, a lot of methods for handing MCFDM problems have been developed. But the calculation of the traditional methods is great large. In this paper, a novel multi-criteria vague decision-making (MCVDM) method based on grey target theory is presented. By introducing grey target theory, the standard alternative was constructed. The order of alternatives was determined through calculating the approaching degree, and the results were consistent to the real condition. The simple and effective characteristic of the proposed method is proved with a numerical example.
