Abstract
This paper introduces the application of fuzzy clustering analysis method to the oil exploration and decision. It adopts 9 evaluation parameters of source rocks, and applies fuzzy clustering method to classify and evaluate the source rocks. Through the comparison of the evaluation results and actual geology, it is found out that the results are fully consistent with the actual conditions. It proves that applying the fuzzy clustering method to oil and gas resource evaluation is totally feasible.
