Abstract
Knowledge sharing among individuals and departments in the organization has been considered to be a crucial process. In this paper, a game-theoretic framework for analysing knowledge sharing in the context of co-opetition in which co-operation and competition exist simultaneously among agents has been introduced. Firstly, we assumed that the player could not transfer the knowledge that he received to other players arbitrarily, so the player in three-player situation must has a problem that how to determine with whom the knowledge should be shared. Subsequently, the paper uses the insights gained from the game-theoretic model to develop a preliminary set of management guidelines for the management of knowledge transfer under co-opetition environment. Finally, Examples were presented to illustrate the methodology and how decision was made.
