  • Abstract
This paper studies the effect of the inverterpsilas dead time on the dynamic characteristics of the Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Motor (PMSM) systems. Considering the harmonic magnetic field, the state space model and transfer function are given for the PMSM system. Furthermore, the effect of the dead-time on the output voltage of inverter is analyzed. The mathematical model, considering the dead-time of inverter, is established for the PMSM system. The theoretical analysis shows that the effect of the dead time can be regarded as a perturbation of the systempsilas static gain. The perturbation bound of the equivalent gain is given in theory. The correctness of the analysis result in this paper is verified by experiments.
