Abstract
In order to reduce the effect of the parameters uncertainties and load disturbances on the brushless doubly-fed motor (BDFM), a Hinfin speed controller is designed by the mixed sensitivity control theory. The proposed Hinfin controller combined with the selection of mixed sensitivity weighting functions is better in robustness, and raises the respond speed of the system to the input signal. Simulation results prove that the implementation of the Hinfin controller in the BDFM leads to robustness in stability and satisfying dynamic performance when the parameters or load torque varies.
