Abstract
This paper presents a sensorless vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on adaptive and fuzzy control. The proposed system is constructed in an arbitrary rotating reference frame and the speed estimator is based on the adaptive theory using the current error. Additionally, the fuzzy control theory is applied to this system for improving the stability and dynamic performance. Using the Matlab/Simulink to analyze the system transient response of speed step change and variation of stator resistance, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by digital simulation.
