Abstract
This paper mainly discusses several methods on widening the speed-regulating range of rare earth permanent magnet brushless direct current motor (BLDCM). The simulation of traditional three-phase inverter structure and the three-phase bridge based on Buck chopper is analysis on the speed-regulating range. The calculation formulas of inductance and capacitance in Buck chopper are given. DSP is designed by speed and current double closed-loop control to improve mechanical character of motor more hard at the lower speed region as well as. Both of simulation and experiment result indicate this power topology method holds widen speed regulation range.
