  • Abstract
    A pulse magnetic traveling wave propulsion system of a novel magnetic levitation electromagnetic launcher is proposed in this paper. The article builds a simulation model in the finite element software, and calculates the influence of the excitation currentpsilas pulse rise time, pulse trailing time and pulse duration time on the driving force of linear motor. Finally, the requirements for waveform of excitation current are summarized for the pulse magnetic traveling wave propulsion system.
