Abstract
In order to model silicon steel lamination which is widely used in larger power transformer core and magnetic shielding configurations, an virtual solid material model is adopted. the equivalent and anisotropied permeablility and the layered and anisotropied conductivity is put forward to evaluate 3-D eddy current field. The linear interpolating method is adopted based on Wh-Bm curve to compute the hysteresis loss. The good agreement for the calculated and measured results verify analysis methods.
