  • Abstract
In this paper, the authors present a new concept of four-phase rectification. The winding way of four-phase rectification, the principle of work and its harmonic have been analyzed. The change relations of the outputs of four-phase rectification with the trigger angle have been studied. The Simulation model of four-phase rectification by Matlab/Simulink has been established. The simulation experiment of four-phase rectification indicates that only four-multiple harmonic been produced in DC side and the output voltage and power is far bigger than the three-phase rectify circuit under the same input voltage, furthermore the thyristors withstanding the reverse voltage is far lower than that of the three-phase rectification under the same output power, then the corresponding electrical equipment insulation and operating cost will be far lower than the three-phase rectification. The research shows that the novel four-phase rectify circuit has its unique merit and potential application value.
