  • Abstract
    Synchronous generators connected with diode-bridge rectifier are used to supply DC power in a wide variety of applications. Serious low-frequency current oscillations may occur in a rectifier-loaded synchronous generator with improper parameters. This paper studies the simulation of stability of the 3/12-phase synchronous generator with simultaneous AC and DC stator connections using MATLAB. The abc model of synchronous generators is established and is achieved by system function of MATLAB. Real-time workshop is used to increase the simulation speed. The simulation results are compared with another verified simulation method.
