  • Abstract
The digital control of continuous-time systems in the presence of noise results in a periodic characteristic (cyclostationarity) in the output variance yt. The optimum minimax variance (MMVR) Is defined which minimizes the maximum of yt. A useful suboptimal MMVR which does not require direct numerical optimization is also derived.
