Abstract
This study is concerned with developing a model which describes the EMG activity of a forearm motion. Although several EMG models have been proposed in the literature, the goal here was to produce a model suitable for on-line applications while taking into account the system nonlinearities The parameters of this model were estimated using simulation and experimental data. The proposed model explains well the collected data.
