Abstract
Two different suboptimal versions of non-coherent sequential acquisition of direct sequence (DS) waveforms are presented and the performance compared for the direct sequence code acquisition problem. The first detector is a suboptimal version of Wald´s sequential [1] detector previously presented by Meyer and Polzer [2]. The second detector is a multiple dwell sequential detector proposed by DiCarlo and Weber [3]. The performance results indicate that the multiple dwell sequential detector performs better than the suboptimal version of the Wald detector.
