Abstract
Recently, demands on civilian UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) has been increasing and appropriate communication system is being required for the UAV environment. In this paper, we have explained the WiBro(wireless broadband) based UAV system structures. We also propose adaptive vertical array antenna technique into WiBro modem for UAV communication system to overcome altitude limitation of the UAV caused by restricted antenna coverage of the WiBro base-station.
