Notice of Violation of IEEE Publication Principles
"An Ethernet Fingerprint Capturing and Authenticating System,"

After careful and considered review of the content and authorship of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE\´s Publication Principles.
This paper is a near verbatim copy of the work cited below. The original text and figures were copied without attribution (including appropriate references to the original author(s) and/or paper title) and without permission.
Due to the nature of this violation, reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper, and future references should be made to the following article:
"Networked Biometric Authentication"
by Peter Greczner, Matthew Rosoff

In this article, the model of fingerprint capturing is proposed. A system for capturing user\´s fingerprint and authentication is introduced. The system can authenticate it against a database via Ethernet communication. And Authentications results are displayed via two color LEDs. The system is able to incorporate any number of basis images. After much software optimization of algorithms and data structures on the PC side, the speed increases with better filtering by Gabor filters. The system is proved to be suitable and reliable.
