Abstract
In addition to process perspective, resource perspective is also important for workflow models. It is crucial to detect the potential resource conflicts at build-time to prevent their actual emergence at run-time. In this paper, we define the resource feasibility of workflow specifications and proposed an approach to detect the potential resource conflicts take into account the resource type and amount as well as the time constraints. We represent the time constraints through lifecycle time lines which depict the lifecycle of each activities.
