Abstract
Reception diversity is generally used to help network deployment and/or to improve air interface performances in mobile systems. Nevertheless, the reduced size of terminal is a constraint that can prevent to build efficient diversity antenna systems. CEA-LETI has developed a new concept of diversity antenna systems. A measurement campaign in actual urban conditions at S-band has been carried out to compare its performances with a classical dipole antenna system.
