Abstract
The commonest cause of sudden cardiac death is anomalous origin of coronary arteries (AOCA). Conventional coronary angiography is the gold standard for the diagnosis of AOCA. However, this technique is limited by its invasive. Multi-detector computed tomography electrocardiogram is increasingly important tool in the identification and assessment of cardiac-related disease processes, including those associated with sudden cardiac death. We found 64-row multi-detector computed tomography is a feasible, noninvasive screening tool of detecting AOCA.
