Abstract
In this paper, a new RFID system to identify the different dairy cattle is designed based on detailed research of radio frequency identification technology. The binary search algorithm is adopted. To reduce the data exchanging time, an improved binary search algorithm is proposed. The experiment results showed that the new system could prevent the conflicting caused by two or more cows stepping in the frequency field at the same time, and ensure that the sensor information matched that of the individual dairy cattle.
