Abstract
Underwater acoustic communication real-time processing system, which plays an important role in AUV, realizes real-time processing of data and output of control instruction. ADSP-TS101 is a high performance DSP with good performance of parallel processing and high speed. A real-time processing system composed with multiple ADSP-TS101s and multi-channel synchronous sampling was designed and carried out. FPGA logical control was adopted for hardware design of multi-channel synchronous sampling module, and cluster/data flow associated pin connection mode was adopted for multiprocessing parallel processing configuration. The software was optimised by tow hardware communication ways, which were broadcast-write through the shared parallel bus and point-to-point through link ports. From the whole system installation, debugging, and experiments conducted in a lake, the results show that the real-time processing system satisfies the engineering requirements and has good stability and real-time processing capability.
