  • Abstract
    The electromagnetic interference (EMI) can influence the working of most medical equipment, cause malfunction, and make the doctor have erroneous diagnosis. The electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor is an important way to determine people´s health, but it would be interfered with the EMI even when people using wireless phone. We study the relation between the position of antenna and the electric-field intensity what is produced by GSM mobile phone. Moreover we record the field strength when changing the distance. Besides, in order to research how much the GSM phone can influence the detection of the ECG signal, we take many methods, such as electromagnetic shielding, analogue-filter, the whole coefficient band-pass or low-pass filter and self-adapting filter. Furthermore, we design the experiments and sample those related data. Basing on the frequency spectrum analysis to the experimental data, we compare those methods and get their different feature.
