Abstract
The zeolite was disposed by the means of dynamic activation with different activators. A new combined process of zeolite and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) has been developed, which removed the organic pollutant in Drinking Water deeply. Through the static and dynamic adsorption experiment of zeolite-activated carbon, the main factors of experiment were analyzed thoroughly; the optimal proportion of improving removing the organic pollutant from Drinking Water was determined; the optimal height and optimal filtering velocity of dynamic adsorption were determined. The experimental results showed that the removal ratios of turbidity and CODMn by this process could exceed 85%, 24.61% and 45.24% respectively when the optimal backfill height was 450 mm and the optimal filtering velocity was 6 m/h.
