Abstract
This paper presents an efficient path searching system implemented in real time 3D game scene. Our method focus on the base element in 3D models - polygons and mesh, treat the scene as a 3D surface. Through the connectivity analyzes of these polygons, we convert the scene data to an abstract contour model and do heuristic search on it. A path searching task management mechanism had been carried out to balance the processing time of each frame loop. Our system could work without any factitious mark and script information in the scene and high processing had been achieved.
