  • Abstract
    The parameters of plastic injection molding process for warpage which can be gotten the value from CAE system can be optimized based on intelligent algorithms such as artificial neural network (ANN) and support vector machine (SVM). However, the quantification methods such as weld lines still rely on the subjective judgments law traditionally. This paper proposes a method to quantify the defect of weld lines based on digital image processing, and then the parameters of molding are optimized by support vector machine to minimize the weld lines.
