  • Abstract
    Metadata technology is significant to establish the data warehousing of coal mine safety. Effective organization and management metadata are the important issues of coal mine safety data sharing and coal mine safety data warehousing. The paper discusses the generality and difference of structure data, semi-structure and non-structure data, put forwards the three metadata structure of organization, and brings forward metadata criterion of coal mine safety data warehousing which has the characteristics of openness, compatibility, adaptability. Based on both the three metadata structure of organization and metadata criterion proposed, the coal mine safety metadata management prototype system is developed. The experimental results show that metadata criterion proposed can greatly improve the performance of management system for coal mine safety data.
