Abstract
Distributed generations (DGs) can provide electricity to the customers at a reduced cost and higher efficiency, if the location, size, and the penetration level are correctly evaluated. To deal with the inherent uncertainties in the aforementioned three parameters, utility-operated DGs and customerowned DGs are considered as deterministic and stochastic facilities, respectively.
