The comparative study on the organizational structure of department of public sports and physical education in China and America

Based on the comparative analysis of three schools´ organizational structure designs in China and America, two organizational structures of College PE-Flat Organization and Matrix Organization-are proposed for the optimal organizational structure´s designs of university public PE departments in China. The flat organization structure is propitious to the clear organization of the staff, the institutional simplification, the promotion of information transference and the promotion of working efficiency, and accordingly different flat organizational structures can be employed in universities. The matrix organizational structure works for solving the problems like temporariness and instability in different functions of public sports and PE departments.
