Abstract
Unipolar impulsive fields emanated by a low-voltage ESD source (metal-metal) are experimentally analyzed. The polarity of the unipolar field depends on both static charge polarity of the metal object to be discharged and spatial position near by metal objects. A flip-flop IC response to the unipolar fields is also investigated.
