  • Abstract
Since 21st century, computer has become more and more important in our daily works and lives. Meanwhile, human urges higher performance of computers to solve many complicated problems, which single-core processor can not be competent. Therefore, multi-core become the market-led with its high-performance and low-power features. In order to exploit the power of multi-core sufficiently and overcome the problem of workload balancing, this paper designs a parallel programming model: MSI (multi-thread schedule interface). It provides some easy but useful interfaces for users calling them. Users only need to focus on data and task partition as programming. At the same time, the scheduler in MSI handles the dynamic scheduling for irregular tasks. In this paper, we will illustrate the MSI model with experiments to testify its practicability and efficiency.
