Abstract
The use of off-the-shelf IT systems in SCADA systems has increased, resulting in higher usability at a lower cost. This has introduced a higher risk from cyber threats. As many SCADA systems play an important role in infrastructure and industrial systems, it is important to maintain reliability and security. However, applying cyber security measures should not interfere with the functionality of the SCADA system. We used a model SCADA system to assess various security measures deployed in the system. In addition, standards and guidelines will become more important for selecting appropriate security.
